   β-环糊精:分子量 1135，空腔直径 6.5Å，空腔高度 7.9Å，羟丙基β-环糊精是β-环糊精的醚化衍生物。羟丙基的引入打开了β-环糊精分子内的氢键，使其在水、醇中的溶解度大幅提高。常温下在水和乙醇、丙二醇中的溶解度>70%，分子量 1563.1，比普通β-环糊精具有更高的安全性，可广泛应用于超分子化学、靶向药物、日化和其他工业领域。
